Deadsy frontman Elijah Blue Allman‘s apparent downward spiral has sadly continued. The 49-year-old son of music icons Cher and the late Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers Band was arrested last month for a February 27th incident. Allman was charged with two counts of simple assault, one charge of criminal trespass and another charge of criminal threatening for an incident that allegedly occurred at a St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire.
It was unclear what ties Allman potentially held to the school in question. A police report noted that Allman had claimed he was a parent to a prospective student to gain access to the facility, with the incidents in question apparently taking place in the school’s dining hall.
Allman was released on bail for the incident and then arrested again on March 01st. For this second arrest, police claim he was found to have broken into a New Hampshire residence by smashing out the back door. Authorities claim he was found smoking a cigarette on a sofa in the house. Per CBS News, that incident took place in Windham, NH and police were alerted to the break-in by one of the homeowners, who called the authorities while hiding in a closet of the residence after the break-in took place.
Allman was said to have been arrested without incident over the matter. Police noted that Allman claimed he had permission to be in the house, however the homeowners disputed his claims to the authorities. Allman was thusly charged with burglary, two counts of criminal mischief and a breach of bail.
Allman was set to appear in court yesterday, March 11th for a hearing, however that has now been postponed in light of Allman acquiring new legal representation. Allman‘s erratic and concering behavior follows a highly-publicized legal battle with his mother that played out in 2024. Cher attempted to instate a temporary conservatorship over the finances of Elijah, citing her concerns of his long-documented history of drug abuse and mental health issues.
Cher argued that Elijah, who is entitled to an annual trust fund payment of roughly $120,000 established by his late father, would harm himself if given the funds. Elijah however disputed the matter in court, claiming to be attending AA meetings and receiving care from therapist and addiction expert Dr. Howard Samuels. Ultimately that dispute ended in a settlement.
While Allman relaunched Deadsy in 2024 and publicly apologized to fans of the band for not delivering on pre-orders for a long-overdue vinyl reissue, he was reportedly hospitalized for an overdose in June of 2025.
