Plans for the 2027 return of the annual ‘Ozzfest‘ have been in the works for some time now, and it would appear that this week will see an official announcement be made. A new countdown timer has just been launched via ozzfest.com, with a reveal scheduled for this coming Thursday, November 05th.
So far, it’s been confirmed that the event will be returning to Villa Park in Birmingham, UK next year. That city is of course the hometown of both the festival’s late namesake Ozzy Osbourne, and the pioneering heavy metal band he fronted, Black Sabbath. 2025 saw that venue play host to the final live sets from both Ozzy and Sabbath as part of the landmark ‘Back To The Beginning‘ concert.
At least one ‘Ozzfest‘ stop will also be held in the United States, with further details regarding it pending. The Osbourne family confirmed over a month ago that a main headliner for the festival has been locked in with an announcement pending. The last ‘Ozzfest‘ took place back in 2018 as a destination festival in Inglewood, CA.
