While Sharon Osbourne has previously confirmed that the 2027 return of the ‘Ozzfest‘ will be hitting Villa Park in Birmingham, UK, the social media account for the resurrected festival has now made it official. While a date and lineup remain pending, the fest will indeed be hitting the same venue where the festival’s namesake, late heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, played his final live show in July of 2025.
That venue of course hosted the ‘Back To The Beginning‘ concert last year, which served as an all-star sendoff for heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath and their frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away just over two weeks afterwards. Both Sabbath and Ozzy originally hailed from Birmingham.
Sharon has previously indicated that discussions with artists have already been taking place for this return of the fest, which is also expected to see a few dates occur in the United States as well.
