Multiple reports have emerged that Marilyn Manson‘s West Hollywood, CA residence was raided by the Special Victims Bureau of the Los Angeles County Sherriff’s office today, November 29th (per TMZ.)
It is said that Manson was not home at the time of the raid, with police forcing entry into his place per a search warrant to investigate his residence and personal belongings. Rolling Stone report that the warrant was issued in connection to at least one of the numerous sexual assault allegations that have cropped up against Manson this year.
The news follows Manson putting his Hollywood Hills home on the market in early October and selling it for $1,835,000 earlier this month. Led by public allegations made against him by his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood this past February, Manson has since been faced with a handful of sexual assault-related lawsuits filed by several women.
Among those to file suit are actress Esmé Bianco, Manson‘s former personal assistant Ashley Walters and his former girlfriend Ashley Morgan Smithline. An unidentified woman has also filed a suit alleging rape & death threats.
Manson himself denied the initial allegations made against him in a statement made on social media, and has continued to fight the aforementioned cases in court.
