Marilyn Manson‘s recent public appearances with rapper Kanye West and most recently pop star Justin Bieber haven’t sat well with at least one of his accusers. Ashley Morgan Smithline is one of four women currently suing Manson for allegations of a sexually abusive nature. Her suit alleges that Manson sexually assaulted her, human trafficked her and more. You can read more on her claims here.

Speaking recently to People on Manson‘s apparent turn to Christianity, after being seen to engage in what appeared to be a prayer circle with the pop and rap celebrities at this past weekend’s ‘Sunday Service’ gospel event put on by Kanye West, Smithline has spoken out.

Talking to People, she likened seeing him being openly embraced by high-profile celebrities on a public platform to being ‘traumatized again’. She stated:

“It makes everyone really fucking sick. This is just like being retraumatized. And it’s just showing the point that the world doesn’t really care if you rape and if you beat and hurt all these [women], you can do whatever you want, basically, if you have money and you’re a guy and you’re famous.”

People also reached out to a spokesperson for Manson to ask about his apparent recent turn to Christianity after years of well, being Marilyn Manson. The spokesperson replied that Manson’s religious beliefs were “nobody’s business.” People also spoke with a rep for Bieber, who stated that he was not informed in advance of Manson‘s presence at the event.

Manson and Bieber previously feuded publicly several years back, with Manson accusing Bieber of being a member of a “religious sex cult”.

In addition to Smithline‘s lawsuit, Manson also faces similar suits from actress Esmé Bianco, his former personal assistant Ashley Walters and a woman who has chosen to remain anonymous. Manson himself denied the initial allegations made against him in both a statement and through his attorneys.

Over a dozen women came forward with disturbing allegations against Manson this year in the wake of his his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood publicly accusing him of abusing her.
