East Of The Wall Finishing Up New Album, The Postman Syndrome Demos To Be Revisited

East Of The Wall will have something new and something partially old to share in the months (or years) to come. A post shared by the band yesterday (December 23rd) reveals that they are not only finishing up work on a new full-length album, but also plan to revisit and re-mix their ‘unreleased’ “God Relieve Our Grief: A Mausoleum Of Stillborn Demos” album from their past incarnation as The Postman Syndrome.

Here’s what they had to say about all of that:

“Hell with it. May as well remix Postman Syndrome‘s “unreleased” God Relieve Our Grief second record to correspond with next year’s Terraforming re-release. It’s never going to sound like a “real” record (whatever that even means) since the source is a bunch of demos we recorded on a Digi 002 or ADATs in our rehearsal space in 2003-2004 (and the two ADAT songs can’t be remixed because we don’t have the source files), but the first remix test is a pretty noticeable improvement if you’re not expecting a miracle. Stay tuned.

P.S. The new East of the Wall LP should be heading out to mixing in a couple weeks, and we may track and release a little 2-3 song EP in the 780 years it will take for the LP’s vinyl to be pressed.”
