A music video for East Of The Wall‘s track “Momentum Mori” has newly been shared online by the band. That song can be found on their latest album “A Neutral Second“, which received a June 30th release date.
Bassist/vocalist Chris Alfano commented of the song and its visual component:
“‘Momentum Mori‘ is the last full-band song we wrote for the record; although the opening riff is something our guitarist Matt Keys had for a while, we finally had the good sense to do something with it.
The concept of the video is an abstract visualization of the self-recording process, with me at the desk but the band coming through the audio workstation: at first just on the screen, and eventually taking the video over. Often with DIY videos, you have to work backwards from “well, what’s possible with our limited resources”?
In the best scenarios, that can force your creative muscles into fascinating new configurations. And in the worst cases it’s just annoying. There’s definitely some music video ideas that I have but may just never get to execute, due to the lack of things like actors, a crew, a budget, free time…. but I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out.”
