The recent shakeup in Northlane‘s Australian/New Zealand touring plans have led to After The Burial scrapping their runs down under and in Japan. Last week saw Northlane delay that tour to the May of 2027, leaving openers After The Burial, Cenobia and Above, Below in the lurch this fall. It isn’t all bad news though, as After The Burial have indicated they’ll be back next year with a new album. Recording sessions for that seventh studio record from the band began this past spring. After The Burial‘s statement read:
Due to the cancellation of the Northlane tour, we regret to announce that we will no longer be performing in Australia or Japan this year. Unfortunately, the loss of the Australian dates has made it logistically impossible for us to move forward with our scheduled shows in Japan.
We were looking forward to returning to both countries and are disappointed that we won’t be able to make it happen this year. We plan to return next year with a new record and look forward to seeing you all then.
Ticket holders should check their emails for further information from the respective ticketing partners.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding. After The Burial“
