A North American leg of Meshuggah‘s 40th anniversary plans for the new year have begun to come into view. Concert listings have been cropping up for a run dubbed ‘The Forty-Year Anomaly Tour‘ featuring the Swedish metal extremists headlining. Thrash metal lifers Testament are serving as direct support, while cosmic Death metallers Blood Incantation are scheduled to open.
Thus far a February 16th stop at the Masonic Temple in Detroit, MI has leaked out ahead of a full announcement. Both outfits are also set to play this year’s ‘Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival‘ in Columbus, OH as well.
The full schedule announcement is imminent, with the general onsale date tentatively scheduled for this Friday, October 30th.
