Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland has responded further to the recent controversy he once again stirred up regarding his condemnation of U.S. President Donald J. Trump. Last weekend the ever-inventive nü-metal guitarist made a post on his Instagram story, in which he urged his own fans to unfollow him if they supported Trump. That statement read:
“If any of my followers voted of support Trump or are still friends with anyone who supports the Trump administration you’re out. F*ck You. Never contact me again.”
Borland‘s disapproval on the current U.S. President is by no means a new development, as he had previously voiced his opposition of Trump back in 2016, when Trump was still just a candidate for the U.S. presidency. Returning to social media today, February 06th, in celebration of his 51st birthday, Borland once again lashed out at Trump and ICE, while leveling some criticism at the Democratic Party as well. His post read:
“I guess if you’re mad at me say whatever you want to here. I just want everyone to be happy Fuck Trump. Fuck ICE. Democrats are without leadership except Bernie. Love AOC. So call me a Libtard here. Hail Satan. It’s also my birthday so you can wish me a happy birthday if you want.”
In a separate post made on his Instagram story today, Borland went on to state:
“Y’all hating me for not wanting hatred in the world is wild. Fine, keep voting against your best interests and telling me: stick to playing guitar. Never heard that one before.”
An additional post made on his Instagram story overnight read, “It’s like you’re devil worshippers but not cool ones.”
