It would appear Europe and the UK are in store for a blast of late 90s/early aughts nü-metal nostalgia of their own by way of a touring package comprised of cover bands. Earlier this summer it was revealed that various tribute bands would be paying tribute to the heydays of the ‘Ozzfest‘ and ‘Family Values‘, with ‘The Nu-Metal Values Ozzfest Rehash Tour‘. That run boasts tribute bands to Korn, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, System Of A Down, Linkin Park, Disturbed and more.
Now a similar run is planned across the pond, albeit with a different cast of tribute bands. This overseas trek, the ‘Forever Nu! Tour‘, will see the following cover bands sharing the stage together:
Chop Suey (System Of A Down tribute band)
Slip-Not (Slipknot tribute band)
Blimp Trizkitz (Limp Bizkit tribute band)
LP Tribute UK (Linkin Park tribute)
Chop Suey boast members and alumni of DragonForce, Sinsaenum, Anti-Nowhere League & Tigertailz. Slip-Not meanwhile feature drummer Andre Joyzi, who served as a drum tech for late Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison and would later replace him in Sinsaenum.
