Amid the growing controversy surrounding Dogma that erupted this fall, the band’s first-ever Australian tour was postponed by promoter Hardline Media. The promoter said at the time, “We only want to promote the band we, and you, thought we were getting.” That decision was made after a growing chorus of former members of Dogma had come forward, making claims of being underpaid, mistreated, lied to and manipulated by the band’s management during their time in the band. Claims of unfavorable contracts and unilateral firings being enacted by the group’s management were also raised.

The uproar regarding Dogma seemingly came to a head earlier this month, when the band’s co-founder, Alvaro Rabaquino (aka The Dark Messiah), came forward with allegations of his own against the band’s management. Rabaquino identified himself as one of the chief creative architects of the initial incarnation of Dogma, overseeing the songwriting and artistic direction, while also performing many of the early instrumental tracks.

In this statement shared on December 03rd, he stated, “Dogma was taken from its creators, stripped of its identity, and redirected to serve one man’s agenda, far from the music and far from the truth.”

Rabaquino‘s statement also revealed the he had partnered with several former members of Dogma who had spoken out against the band’s management in recent months: vocalist Grace Jane Pasturini (Lilith II), guitarist Amber Maldonado (Lamia II), and guitarist Patri Grief (Rusalka).

Together they have launched a new musical venture dubbed VindictA, which will find them creating new material together, while also performing the songs they were involved with during their time in Dogma. The newest development in this convoluted saga has seen Hardline Media put the tickets sold for Dogma‘s now canceled Australian tour and apply them to VindictA‘s newly booked Australian tour.

A statement issued by Hardline Media yesterday, December 17th, read as follows:

Hardline Media are stoked to announce the inaugural and triumphant Reckoning tour of VINDICTA. ADELAIDE, MELBOURNE, SYDNEY & BRISBANE, it’s your turn…

Born from the ruins of greatness, Vindicta rise, more original and even greater than before. Australian believers, we heard your call…vocalist Grace Pasturini (Lilith) and guitarists Amber Maldonado (Lamia) and Patri Grief (Rusalka) will be descending down under in June 2026

Blending heavy riffs, cinematic atmospheres and strong melodic hooks, VINDICTA deliver a powerful and emotionally driven sound rooted in modern Metal, with a strong focus on performance, visuals and storytelling. With members based in Italy, the United States and Spain, VINDICTA operates as an international project with a global outlook.

The band recently released their debut single “The Face of the Clown” which received an excellent response from fans and marked the first step in establishing VINDICTA’s own musical identity.

Built as a professional, long-term project, VINDICTA is driven by a clear creative vision and an international growth strategy. Their live shows combine new original material with selected songs previously performed by the members, including material from Gospel I, presented within a renewed concept and sound.

VINDICTA represents a new chapter shaped by experience, creative freedom and ambition, with a clear focus on building something solid, forward-looking and international. Come and join us. We are Vindicta.

Dogma for their part addressed the cancelation of the Australian tour on November 23rd, stating:

“Over the past days we have been in continuous communication with our partners to evaluate every possible option to preserve the upcoming shows. We chose silence until now because we were exhausting every path that could allow the Australian dates to move forward or be immediately rescheduled with confirmed replacement dates.

After completing that process, we can confirm the following:

  • Australia:
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Australian shows are officially canceled.
All tickets and Meet & Greets can be refunded at the original point of purchase.
We are already discussing the possibility of returning to Australia in the future…

To everyone who has been waiting for news: thank you for your patience.

Dogma does not move impulsively. We move with purpose, and we do not speak until every door has been opened, checked, and, when needed, closed.

A new path is now being drawn.
Those who walk with us will soon see where it leads.
We embrace you, sinners…”

Speaking of the reveal of this Australian tour, which currently serves as VindictA‘s first run, that outfit collectively commented overnight:

“Australia, you’ll be the first.

THE RECKONING TOUR
AUSTRALIA 2026

Thanks to Hardline Media for backing us and believing in what’s real.

This is just the beginning.
See you in June.
Face to face.”
