VindictA, a fledgling outfit formed by a number of former members of Dogma, have premiered a music video for their debut single, “The Face Of The Clown“. The band said alongside this unveiling, “Disciples, the reckoning communion has just begun… and this is the offering we bring to all of you.” Matteo Ermeti directed the below video that accompanies it. The song itself first arrived online last December.
VindictA came to be following a period of turmoil surrounding the Dogma camp. That controversy emerged after a number of disgruntled former members, including the band’s co-founder, spoke out against the working conditions and their treatment while in Dogma. As it turns out, their public airing of grievances wound up leading to them forming this rival outfit.
The backlash directed towards Dogma in regards to the various allegations lodged against the band’s manager ultimately saw VindictA replace Dogma on an impending Australian tour. That run will commence next week:
