1349 have shared a live performance video of their track “Striding The Chasm” from their upcoming live release, “Winter Mass“. That set saw the Norwegian black metal band hit the stage at the Parkteatret on November 20th, 2021 in their hometown of Oslo. Speaking of this track now, the band’s frontman Ravn commented:
“‘Striding The Chasm‘ is an emblematic track. It maintains the 1349 signature ferocity, but also adds a complexity in its approach and stands out as the most thrash-infused pinnacle in our catalog. It is the track that challenges the listener to confront their own dark and primal nature. Performing this track live was a revelation to me as the imminent connection between the song and audience became an instant hit and I feel the track’s potential is enhanced even more now within a live setting, within our Live Ritual…within our ‘Winter Mass.'”
Season Of Mist will have “Winter Mass” out on November 28th.
