Norwegian black metal outfit 1349 have christened their upcoming new live album “Winter Mass“. That outing features a 13-song set the band performed at the Parkteatret in their hometown of Oslo, Norway back on November 20th of 2021. Vocalist Ravn said of the decision to release this past pandemic era performance:
“This show was captured between two lockdowns in the recent plague, and it mirrors the energy that we feel onstage to perfection. What you see here is the raw outburst of what we label ‘Aural Hellfire.’ To top it off, we also included all of the drawings that Kim Holm has done of us, thus far, and he also is able to convey that energy through his art. Rejoice and ravish this complete package of raw Hellfire!”
