Ministry Release Music Video For Their Updated Version Of "Everyday Is Halloween"

Ministry have just issued a Vicente Cordero-directed (Cradle Of Filth, Jinjer) music video for the band’s gothy synth pop anthem “Everyday Is Halloween“. Originally arriving back in 1984, that song and much of Ministry‘s early material was intentionally shunned by the group’s founder Al Jourgensen for decades to come.

Recent years however have found Jourgensen begin revisiting his pre-industrial metal years live, leading up to last week’s release of “The Squirrely Years Revisited“. That effort found Jourgensen and co. reworking a variety of tracks from the band’s early days, giving them a bit sharper of an edge. It is that updated take on “Everyday Is Halloween” that is featured in this new video.

Speaking of the video’s premiere, Jourgensen remarked, “I’m amazed and honored that folks are still listening to this song 40 years on. Fly that freak flag proudly.” Immediate live plans will see Ministry out celebrating that newly revised early material out on the road at the following shows:
