Falling In Reverse's Ronnie Radke Disses Spiritbox Over Recent GRAMMY Loss

Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke took to reigniting his feud with Spiritbox on social media this week. Following the latter band’s loss at this at this year’s GRAMMY Awards earlier this month, Radke fired off this post on X this past Sunday, February 09th:

“Yall can get spinelessbox to drop off my tour cuz I said tr*nny gay f*g r*tard, but can’t stop me from winning a billboard award and can’t help them to win a Grammy. Got it”

Notably, Radke himself did not censor the slurs in his actual post. When asked by a user where his own GRAMMY Award nomination was, Radke offered:

Falling In Reverse did manage to notch up a Billboard Music Award this year, landing the ‘Top Hard Rock Song’ for their collaboration with Jelly Roll, “All My Life“. That song has also picked up a nomination for ‘Rock Song Of The Year’ at this March’s ‘iHeartRadio Music Awards‘.

However there is a slight caveat to Radke‘s diss against the above-mentioned Canadian alternative metal band. For clarity, while the GRAMMY Awards nominees are voted on by committee; nominees for the Billboard Music Awards nominees are instead based on statistical date, as the following criteria is listed by the awards show itself:

Billboard Music Awards® finalists are based on key interactions with music fans, as well as album and digital songs sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and social engagement, tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound. The awards are based on a 12-month reporting period. Since 1940, the Billboard charts have been the go-to guide for ranking the popularity of artists, songs and albums, and are the ultimate measure of success in music.’

Radke‘s beef with Spiritbox extends back several years now, after the latter band withdrew from a planned 2023 tour with Falling In Reverse. That departure came about in the wake of controversial statements and actions previously made by the ever divisive Radke.

While those statements and actions were made long before Spiritbox accepted the tour with Falling In Reverse, Spiritbox found themselves facing public backlash from fans, apparently concerned that touring with Radke would go against the band’s morals and the air of inclusivity that had been cultivated around the band.

Spiritbox would quietly drop off the tour, and in the aftermath, Radke was initially somewhat sympathetic to Spiritbox‘s plight, instead calling out Spiritbox‘s fanbase.

However, Radke has continued to lob barbs towards Spiritbox in the years since. In the spring of 2024, he also offered this explanation as to why he has taken issue with the band.
