Sadly, word has come in that professional wrestler/musician Andy Williams passed away yesterday, September 05th, at the age of 48. His death followed him suffering a medical emergency just after his tag team match at an Enjoy Wrestling event in Milvale, PA. TMZ have confirmed his passing, citing word directly from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office on the matter.
Known for his past work with Every Time I Die and more recently Atomic Rule, Williams also pursued his passion as a professional wrestler in his latter years under the moniker of The Butcher. He performed for numerous indies and also had a several year stint with AEW.
Williams is said to have collapsed following his match last night and was treated immediately by local health staff, before being transported by ambulance to a local health facility. The rest of the wrestling event was subsequently canceled. Tributes to Williams from his many friends and peers have begun to pour in online via social media.
