Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke has fired back at SeeYouSpaceCowboy vocalist Connie Sgarbossa over recent comments made on social media. Last night (January 14th,) amid backlash from for SeeYouSpaceCowboy accepting a tour with Dance Gavin Dance, Sgarbossa voiced her concerns about seemingly being unheard in the band’s touring decisions. She also took it a step further, suggesting she may exit the group. In a pair of posts on X, Sgarbossa stated:
“Believe me, there is no part of me as an individual that backs this either”
“Probably gonna be leaving SYSC due to a lack of urgency on issues I have been bringing up for a while now. It was fun while it lasted.”
The controversy regarding the aforementioned tour stems from Dance Gavin Dance‘s own past with their vocalist Tilian Pearson, who in 2022 took a leave of absence amid allegations of sexual misconduct and substance abuse. Pearson was welcomed back into the band several months afterwards, following a stint in rehab. He would remain with the band until parting ways with him this past April.
SeeYouSpaceCowboy drew criticism online yesterday for accepting the tour with Dance Gavin Dance due to the aforementioned situation, as well as their own previous stance they’ve taken to touring with bands who have had allegations made against them. Back in early 2024, SeeYouSpaceCowboy kicked Roman Candle off a tour as a then fired member had been hit with allegations of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
In accepting this newly announced tour with Dance Gavin Dance, a vocal contingent of social media commenters began to call out SeeYouSpaceCowboy for allegedly putting money before their morals, while others accused them of being hypocritical.
It was Sgarbossa‘s comments above that led Radke to speak out. Replying directly to her comment of “Believe me, there is no part of me as an individual that backs this either” on X, Radke fired back yesterday, January 14th:
This isn’t the first time Radke and Sgarbossa have publicly clashed on social media, as the pair previously got into it back in 2023.
