Marilyn Manson gave a live debut to his recent surprise released single “As Sick As The Secrets Within“ last night, August 03rd. The returning shock rocker performed that track during his headlining set at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD. That concert was the second comeback show of Manson‘s ongoing attempt at relaunching his career following the dozen or so allegations of sexual assault that were leveled against him back in early 2021.
Much of the intervening years since have found Manson — who has denied the allegations made against him — in the courts dealing with several civil lawsuits related to those claims, among others. An update on how that is going can be found in this report from last month.
Manson dropped this latest single this past Friday, August 02nd, with it being the first through his new partnership with Nuclear Blast Records. The setlist for last night’s show, fan-filmed footage of which is available below, ran as follows:
“Cruci-Fiction In Space”
“Disposable Teens”
“Angel With The Scabbed Wings”
“Say10”
“This Is The New Shit”
