Dredg Plan “The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion” 15th Anniversary Pressing As Work Continues On Their New Album

The progress with dredg‘s follow-up to to 2011’s “Chuckles And Mr. Squeezy” has felt glacial over the years, and according to the latest update from the band, work still continues. The band first began publicly discussing that effort back in 2018 and hinted in 2021 that it may wind up being a double album.

This past January saw the beloved alternative rockers express their hopes to at least finish writing the outing this year. As it turns out, if they don’t manage to get it out by the year’s end, they’ll at least something to tide their fans over. Plans are in the works for a 15th anniversary collectors vinyl pressing of the group’s fourth studio album, 2009’s “The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion“. A post regarding that was shared by the band today (June 10th) and reads as follows:

“As we continue work on our upcoming 6th LP, we take a moment to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of our 4th release: The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion (released June 09, 2009). Anniversary collectors vinyl to be released later this year…”
