Semi-Rotted (Ex-Five Finger Death Punch) Welcome Drummer Tim Yeung, Debut Video For “Bloodbath” Featuring Cannibal Corpse’s George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher

Semi-Rotted, the ‘old school death metal’-inspired project led by Psycho Synner frontman/ex-Five Finger Death Punch drummer Jeremy Spencer, have announced the addition of drummer Tim Yeung (ex-Morbid Angel, Divine Heresy, etc.) to their ranks.

Spencer had the following to say of Yeung‘s new involvement:

“Getting a drummer the caliber of Tim Yeung really allows freedom when creating because you know he’s gonna add the bad ass chops to push the material over the top. There’s nobody I wanted more than Tim, so I thought I’d reach out by chance he might be available and he was! He instantly starting taking the songs to another level when he started drumming on them.”

According to a press release, the new lineup of the group have been working on 25 new songs together. One of those tracks, “Bloodbath“, has just seen its online release, complete with an animated music video.

That song features a guest vocal spot from Cannibal Corpse frontman George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher. Spencer said of it, “Getting to work with a legend like Corpsegrinder is more than a dream come true. He is a lord in the death metal community! One of the true badasses to ever do it and one of my personal favorites.”
