In a video shared overnight via his Instagram stories, Incubus vocalist Brandon Boyd revealed that the show postponements were due to him having thrown out his back. He offered the following about that:

“Hello everybody, I wanted to take a moment to update you guys as to what was going on with Incubus show postponements. Fortunately nobody has COVID, everyone is healthy and happy. I just threw my back out a few days ago and I’ve never had an experience like this before. I couldn’t as of the past few days really do anything other than just sort of lay there and wait. Today I could take some deep breaths, I’m definitely heading in the right direction. And so we’re gonna be back in the saddle, so to speak, sooner than later. I also want to thank you guys for all the well wishes that have been coming through. We have such amazing listeners and supporters out there, so thank you. And also I’d like to apologize for any inconvenience this may caused for you guys coming to the shows. But we’re gonna be back at it very quickly, I love you guys.”

Original Story:

Having postponed their past three shows across this last weekend, alternative rock icons Incubus have announced another postponed date. Speaking yesterday, August 15th, the band stated:

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will need to postpone tomorrow’s show in Rogers, AR. We regret any inconvenience this may cause, but we are excited to get back and see everyone very soon. Please hold onto your tickets until further notice as we work towards rescheduling this date.

Much love <3"
