Last night’s (March 04th) episode of ‘The Masked Singer‘ featured a tribute to heavy metal and hard rock. Dubbed ‘Ozzfest night’, a number of the performances on the celebrity reality singing competition series were dedicated to the heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne.
With Ozzy‘s daughter Kelly in attendance, performances of Ozzy‘s “Mama I’m Coming Home” and “Crazy Train“, along with a rendition of Black Sabbath‘s “Paranoid“, were delivered. Also covered were Linkin Park‘s “One Step Closer” and Incubus‘ “Drive“, Both of the later are of course ‘Ozzfest‘ alumni.
Outside of paying tribute to one of heavy metal’s founding fathers, this episode also served up some bonus synergy as it has recently been confirmed by Sharon Osbourne that ‘Ozzfest‘ will return in 2027.
