Marilyn Manson Has Reportedly Been Working With Kanye West On “Donda 2”

Despite currently facing several sexual assault related lawsuits, disgraced shock rocker Marilyn Manson‘s relationship with rapper Kanye West (aka Ye) continues to blossom. Manson‘s music and acting careers crumbled under the wave of serious and disturbing accusations being leveled against him by over a dozen women last year, including his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood.

While Manson was dropped by his management, label and more, West would go on to give him a platform for his return to the public eye. To that end West invited Manson to attend high profile listening party and spiritual events, while allegedly even turning him onto Christianity.

Manson would go on to appear on West‘s 2021 release “Donda” and will be eligible for the Album Of The Year award at this year’s Grammys should West win, given his involvement on the featured track “Jail Pt. 2‘.

In a new interview with, West collaborator/producer Digital Nas mentioned that Manson has frequently been involved in the sessions for West‘s impending follow-up album, “Donda 2“, expected out February 22nd

Digital Nas told the aforementioned publication, “I see Marilyn a lot in the studio. Like, every day I go to the studio, Marilyn is there working on ‘Donda 2‘.” While unconfirmed at the moment, it would appear that past Manson collaborator Tim Skold has once again been working with Manson as of late and may also have had some input into the “Donda 2” sessions.

Digital Nas clarified that Manson and co. have been working more in a production/songwriting capacity, offering:

“[Kanye] doesn’t want Marilyn to play rap beat. He wants Marilyn to play what he makes, and then Ye will take parts of that and sample parts of that and use parts of that, like he did [generally when making] ‘Yeezus‘. … He has some producers from ‘Yeezus‘ working on ‘Donda 2‘ this time around, [as well as] Marilyn, me, a bunch of producers from ‘Donda 1‘.”

When asked about West‘s relationship with Manson and why it has grown in the wake of the various allegations made, Digital Nas speculated:

“I think it’s moreso that Ye is coming from a standpoint of like, ‘We all make mistakes.’ I think that’s maybe why he had DaBaby and Marilyn at that one show. I’m just assuming it is from a standpoint of like, ‘We’re all sinners. We all make mistakes. We shouldn’t point the finger at someone for the mistakes they’ve made or something like that.”
