Blackened death doom outfit Strigoi have newly signed with Season Of Mist. Among their plans is a sophomore album titled “Viscera“, which will receive a summer 2022 release date. The band feature guitarist, etc. Greg Mackintosh of Paradise Lost and ex-Vallenfyre fame. He is joined by his ex-Vallenfyre bandmate Chris Casket in the outfit, which also finds Guido Zima on drums and Ben Ash (Satyricon, ex-Carcass, etc.) on guitars.
The band had the following to say about this latest development and what’s to come in the new year:
“We are very pleased to announce that Strigoi have signed a deal with Season Of Mist Records to release our second studio album: ‘Viscera.’ Season Of Mist has come to represent all shades of musical darkness, and with such an eclectic roster and impressive history we feel this union affords us the best and most suitable platform to launch Strigoi‘s second offering of cold terror.”
