Doom metal trio Blood Of The Earth (Thy Will Be Done, ex-Crowbar/The Convalescence) have issued a single titled “The Constellation” online. It surfaces just ahead of their forthcoming EP, “Beneath A Sky That Breaks“, which they will be independently releasing this Friday, October 23rd.
Keyboardist/percussionist/vocalist, etc. Katie Golden said of it:
“‘The Constellation‘ has transformed significantly since its original instrumental version on our first EP. Bringing lyrics and vocals into the song gave it a much deeper meaning and intensity, while the revisions allowed us to really explore what the song could become. It feels like we finally brought it to life in the way we always imagined.”
Guitarist/bassist Jeff Golden added:
“‘The Constellation‘ comes to life with atmosphere, haunting sounds, and heaviness from the vocals of both J Costa and Katie. They each bring something completely different to the song, and when those voices come together with the heaviness of the music, it gives the track a much stronger identity.”
