With Unsane seemingly having been laid to rest, the band’s former vocalist/guitarist Chris Spencer has turned his attention towards his new outfit, Human Impact. Jim Coleman (Cop Shoot Cop, Chris Pravdica (Swans) and Phil Puleo (Cop Shoot Cop/Swans) join him in that group, who have just announced their signing with Ipecac Recordings.
A debut album is expected out in 2020 with Ipecac co-founder Greg Werckman commenting:
“The sum of its parts, indeed! Each member of Human Impact brings a musical pedigree from some of the best noise that the city of New York has ever spawned. We were honored to get the call and asked to provide the platform to help launch this band.”
