Korn's Brian "Head" Welch With Mike Huckabee

Korn’s Brian “Head” Welch Responds To Backlash From Jamming With Mike Huckabee

Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch‘s recent jam session and appearance on former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee‘s weekly news and talk show, ‘Huckabee“, wasn’t without controversy. Welch was there to promote his documentary film with his daughter, ‘Loud Krazy Love‘, and also jammed a bit of Korn‘s “Blind” with Huckabee on bass.

However, Huckabee‘s divisive political opinions and religious beliefs have never sat well with some, leading Welch to face a fairly immediate backlash. Today, June 12th, Welch took to his social media to address that:

“@govmikehuckabee and I may agree or disagree on certain social issues; I don’t know. I’ve never talked to him about politics, and I don’t follow politics.
People can say what they want about me jamming with the Gov, but this man has been nothing but humble and extremely kind to me and my daughter. Thank you @govmikehuckabee we had a blast!”

Both Welch and Huckabee are devout Christians with Huckabee himself being an ordained Southern Baptist minister. ‘Loud Krazy Love‘ will receive a Blu-ray/DVD, etc. release on June 18th.
