Drummer Tommy Lee of Mötley Crüe fame intends to resurrect his Methods Of Mayhem project this year with tentative plans to have the record out in late April/early May. Lee and his wife Brittany Furlan confirmed the news on the below episode of Furlan‘s podcast. According to the couple, a number of as-yet unannounced guests will appear on the record, which itself has yet to officially be titled.
The band’s 1999 self-titled debut album capitalized on the success of nü metal, with cameos from Fred Durst, Kid Rock and more helping it go gold in the United States. The band’s latest album “A Public Disservice Announcement” was released in 2010 and features guest spots from Deftones‘ Chino Moreno, Nickelback‘s Chad Kroeger and more.
