Life Of Agony’s Las Vegas Show Cancelled After Teacher Made Terroristic Threats

Life Of Agony‘s planned live show at the Beauty Bar this past Saturday, May 26th, in Las Vegas, NV, was cancelled after a Bonanza High School teacher made terroristic threats regarding their show. KTNV report Leslie McGourty, had made threats towards the concert in a text conversation to her friend, the latter of whom notified police.

The authorities arrested McGourty last Wednesday, May 16th, and she is currently out on bail and placed on paid administrative leave. A concerining portion of the text exchange has been shared online and finds McGourty threatening to ‘poke’ a ‘lot of holes in a lot of people on Saturday.’

It would seem that the choice of concert wasn’t just a coincidence either, as she appears to be a Life Of Agony fan. See below for more from her text conversation shared by the police:

“The timing couldn’t be any better. And the irony of it all it’s all perfect”

“A perfect plan with my favorite song surrounded by a bunch of fucked-up Misfits like I am.”

“Imagine knowing exactly the moment that you’re going to die. I know exactly that your favorite song will be playing. By your favorite band. It’s just too perfect.”

She later stated:

“…Maybe I will start a movement. Another me-too movement. But this time in which women feel empowered enough to become serial killers.” filed the below video report on the matter:
