Ghost’s Female Nameless Ghoul Now Has Her Own Special Mask

While the introduction of ‘new’ frontman Cardinal Copia has taken the spotlight when it comes to new additions to the ranks of Ghost, it would appear he isn’t the only notable inclusion. While the band have had female members before, the past attire of the Nameless Ghoul certainly didn’t advertise it.

A recent promo shot from the band (see above/below,) shows them taking a different course on this album cycle, giving the woman in question (reportedly Megan Thomas,) her very own stylized female Nameless Ghoul mask.

The subject of the high turnover rate in Ghost‘s lineup of course remains a heated topic, with the band often thought to be the brainchild of Tobias Forge (Cardinal Copia, Papa Emeritus, etc.,) though this lawsuit filed by various former members seeks to upset that in a way.

Given that the band have gone to the trouble to create a female Nameless Ghoul, perhaps Forge is aiming for less volatility in the ranks this time around. Ghost‘s new album “Prequelle” will be released on June 01st and a video for the first single form it, “Rats“, premiered last week.
