dude what the fuck man. im down with ASP but have they always used 8 string??? It’s fucking way over used and should honestly only be played by people who know how to take advatage of them (animals as leaders, meshuggah) and who give them a signature heavyness which was the inetention of their use in the first place. seriously this whole 8 string craze pisses me off so much. just stick with a 7 string and get the same heavyness in drop C. save the 8 strings for REAL guitar hero’s dude.
I agree. It’s sweet to see Tosin Abasi or Josh Travis of Tony Danza TDE wail on the 8 string. But it’s SO pointless for bands like this and the Acacia Strain and every other band use them. My opinion.
I’m down with apostrophes but Afghanistam’s abuse of them makes me want to throw up.
