Cameron Almasi and Suicide Silence/All Shall Perish vocalist Eddie Hermida have co-founded an ‘artist-first music company’ dubbed Arson Theory. A newly issued press release spells out their vision for this venture. which has already begun working with the likes of All Shall Perish, Shadow Of Intent, PeelingFlesh, PSYCHO-FRAME, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life and more. Here’s what was officially offered of the company:

Arson Theory, a new independent music company founded by Cameron Almasi and Eddie Hermida (Suicide Silence, All Shall Perish), is a modern, artist-first model designed to challenge traditional industry structures in heavy and alternative music.

Built by artists and industry veterans, Arson Theory operates as a full-service ecosystem spanning distribution, label services, publishing, rights management, sync, marketing, merchandising, physical distribution, and catalog acquisitions. The company’s core approach centers on giving artists access to global infrastructure and hands-on development while maintaining greater ownership, control, and creative identity.

Arson Theory is really the byproduct of two people with very different perspectives coming together and realizing there was an opportunity to build something better. Eddie and I have been friends for a long time, and over the years we would constantly compare what his bands were experiencing in heavy music with what my clients were receiving in the pop, rap, and dance worlds, especially around distribution, publishing and creative support,” recalled co-founder Almasi.

“I saw a gap between complete DIY independence and the traditional label system. Artists shouldn’t have to choose between doing everything themselves and giving up ownership, flexibility, or a large portion of their economics just to receive meaningful support. Publishing was similar, I wanted to bring the kind of creative development, collaboration and opportunity I had seen in other genres into heavy music.”

Being created by industry-professionals, Arson Theory’s thoughtful infrastructure is no accident. Co-founder and lead vocalist for Suicide Silence and All Shall Perish, Hermida explains, “Arson Theory is a project that never in my wildest dreams I could have imagined I’d be a part of. Ultimately, I’m a musician that has had a rough time with the ‘industry’ so I approached this project carefully. Now a year-and-a-half later, I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to help boost the trajectory of someone’s career.

We care about the musician and that is what I believe makes this label so special. It has artists keeping the balance behind the scenes and representing for the artist before any idea comes to fruition. It has managers fed up with red tape working to make things more streamlined. I am happy and proud of what has been built and look forward to watching this company become a staple in the metal and alternative space.”

Positioned between independence and traditional label systems, Arson Theory is focused on long-term artist development and scalable career growth. In a short time, the company has established itself as an active independent player in the space, working across a global roster that includes emerging talent, established acts, charting releases, and RIAA-certified artists, with capabilities across both distribution and publishing.

Confident in the future they’ve landscaped, Almasi notes, “My goal for Arson Theory is to become the undeniable home for artists in heavy and alternative music who want independence without having to sacrifice partnership.”

On the Arson Theory roster already: Shadow Of Intent, 3Teeth, All Shall Perish, PeelingFlesh, Carcosa, Psycho-Frame, Boltcutter, Dead Air Divine, Chain Gang, Slow Degrade, Brayton, Kent Osborne, Morgoth Beatz, Shalløw, Weeping Wound, Zero Signal, Charnel, Nervepitch, Piss Ant, Corpse Pile, Traitors, Killing Of A Sacred Deer, Vitals US, 157frq, Vandalheart, Luke Fiadino, Moodring, Keep Close, Still Remains, Evergreen Terrace, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life, Yvncc, Further Within, Gutrectomy, and more.’
