I love the deftones’ performance videos the most. Some of their videos got some pretty bad treatments. My own summer probably got it the worst. Rocket Skates was cool, but it just wasn’t the same without Chi. Hopefully this turns out to be good. It’s probably the strongest song on the album.

    • Did anybody get the new album yet?? my brother burned me a copy today. I don’t like it as much as their other stuff, but maybe I just have to listen to it more. I argued with my brother all day because i thought it was eros and he showed me i was wrong. I can’t believe this was what they dropped eros for. the songs on eros must be really really bad. oh well… still cant wait to see them again!!!

Be Quiet and Drive got the worst video treatment…even the entire band admits that that was the worst damn video they’ve ever done. And by “worst video treatment” I don’t mean I think the video sucks…but out of all of them, that one is at the bottom of the list. I can’t wait to see this new video…Rocket Skates was pretty bitchin…real return to form:)

So what you guys are saying is that Lady Gaga’s clit and Helmet will be doing cameos in the new Deftones video? Sounds interesting…

@peanutbuttercrunch I dont know what your talking about, I think that was their best music video ever. I still think its one of my favorite music videos from any band. If anything Id say my own summer was their worst. It was just tacky as hell.

Their best music video ever? Now I don’t know what YOU’RE talking about…they have far better videos than that one. Change (In The House of Flies), Mein, Hole In The Earth, and Rocket Skates come to mind. My Own Summer far surpasses that one too far as I’m concerned

I didn’t really have a problem with be quiet and drive, although it was pretty simple. My own summer was so bad that it just cant be taken seriously. Chino singing in the deep sea diving gear was one of the worst deftones moments ever. Digital Bath was pretty silly too. Anyone wearing snowboarding goggles, anywhere but the snow is a major tool, in my opinion.
