New music from Crowbar will be a going concern early in the new year. The sludge metal heavyweights have been enjoying viral success in recent months after decades in the trenches. Now plans are being forged for their 13th studio album. Vocalist/guitarist John Crowbar Kirk Windstein recently told Metalcavern, “…we’re ready to dive into the new Crowbar [on the] first of the year and just get this thing rolling, man.”
Windstein went on to say that there’s no title yet, and barely a riff written as of yet. However, he put forth that the group “write quickly” and doesn’t expect it to take too much time to hammer out a new record, schedules permitting. Crowbar‘s current album, “Zero And Below“, arrived back in April of 2022.
