Tommy Vext has revealed the musicians set to join him in his new band With A Vengeance. Initially the former Bad Wolves, etc. frontman set out to gain the rights to Bad Wolves in a reported seven-figure deal, though according to Vext, talks with the band’s founding drummer John Boecklin fell through.
In turn, Vext has paired up with fellow Bad Wolves alumnus Chris Cain (guitars) to launch this new band. Recently that duo began rolling out who else is joining them in this venture. Among them are guitarist Angel Vivaldi, who has previously worked with Vext in the past.
Drummer Austin D’Amond (Chimaira/Bleed The Sky, ex-DevilDriver) has also joined the roster, as has Xander Raymond Charles on bass. The latter was previously primed to join Ill Niño earlier this year, though that arrangement fell apart before it really began.
Vext and Bad Wolves had a bitter split back in 2021, leading to various barbs and legal battles in the years that followed. In August of last year, he and Cain were auditioning members via Bad Wolves covers, presumably for what ultimately became With A Vengeance.
