Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke mocked one of his past controversies during his time onstage last weekend at the Long Beach, CA ‘Vans Warped Tour‘ 30th anniversary stop. During that set, the ever-controversial Radke brought out inflatable microphone stands, which he then proceeded to throw out into the audience. Radke called for his stagehands to bring out the much less harmful oversized prop before attempting to toss at least one into the audience ahead of a performance of his multi-platinum band’s song “F*ck You And All Your Friends“.
If you’re not familiar with Radke‘s divisive past, a 2012 Falling In Reverse show in New Jersey left a 16-year-old female and a 24-year-old male concertgoer injured after being struck by a mic stands thrown out into the audience by Radke himself. Footage of the incident that circulated soon after didn’t appear to find Radke acting maliciously in the incident, but rather in an apparent reckless fashion.
Radke was arrested after that show and charged with simple assault and aggravated assault as a result of the incident, with the venue the show was held at opting to never “host another metal show.” For his part, has also Radke has previously made light of that incident prior.
