The recent “Six Flags FestEVIL” show held at the “Six Flags Great Adventure & Wild Safari” in New Jersey will be the last event of its kind at the location. The news comes following a series of injuries caused by Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke, who during the closing of his bands headlining set threw three microphone stands into the audience.
According to police, both a 16 year old girl and a 24 year old male were struck in the head by the stands . They were each treated on site for their injuries, which included bruises and cuts. Radke was summarily arrested for simple assault and aggravated assault as a result of the incident and has since been released on $25,000 bail.
Along with Falling In Reverse, the festival also saw performances from the likes of We Came As Romans, Norma Jean, Born Of Osiris and many more.
Park spokeswoman Kristin Siebeneicher told the Asbury Park Press that: “this was the first metal show that we’ve ever had, and will be the last. We have no plans to host another metal show.” She continued: “this performer was completely reckless. He had complete disregard for the safety of his fans. His actions were totally unacceptable. It’s not the type of entertainment that we want to be producing.”
