Malevolence have dropped a new track titled “Trenches“. Double Or Nothing Productions took on the directorial duties for the below music video that accompanies this single. Recording sessions for this song took place with GRAMMY Award-winning producer Josh Wilbur (Lamb Of God, Gojira).
Vocalist Alex Taylor commented:
“‘Trenches‘ is possibly the most aggressive, ignorant and direct song we have ever written. Over the last few years, we’ve been playing more in the commercial metal circuit at festivals and arenas, so we wanted to take this opportunity to remind people that we still haven’t lost sight of where we came from. The lyrics are a declaration of not needing validation or approval, and a rejection of those who never supported the journey but only show their face when you achieve some level of success.”
The British metalcore date have also announced a release party for the single will be held at Coretex Records in Berlin, Germany this Saturday, November 09th. Today, November 06th, also sees the launch of the band’s European run as direct support to While She Sleeps. thrown and Resolve are also on the bill for that trek:
