Watch Pearl Jam Play 1999 B-Side "Whale Song" Live For The First Time

The first of Pearl Jam‘s sets at this weekend’s ‘Ohana Festival‘ in Dana Point, CA saw the grunge legends deliver a first-time live performance of their 1999 track “Whale Song“. That “Yield” b-side first emerged on the “M.O.M. III: Music for Our Mother Ocean” benefit album, and later saw an inclusion on the band’s 2003 rarities release, “Lost Dogs“. Former Pearl Jam drummer Jack Irons originally took lead on that track, and last night (September 28th), found his son Zach being invited to take the reigns for the song’s live debut.
