Gold-certified alternative rockers Nothing More‘s new single “If It Doesn’t Hurt” was digitally released today, January 19th. With it came a music video directed by Orie McGinness (Bad Omens, Spiritbox), which you can check out below.
The band’s vocalist Jonny Hawkins commented:
“Gaslighting, manipulation, narcissistic deceit and betrayal… this song was written while trapped and is sung now while free. If you’re in toxic relationship and are waiting for a sign to get out…this is it.”
The song follows last summer’s last summer’s reveal of disturbing domestic incident involving Hawkins and his ex which transpired back in late 2021. It is not clear if the song is related to that relationship. The band are slated to hit the road across Europe and the UK next month, playing the following run of shows:
