Technical death metal outfit Revocation have freshly delivered a music video for their track “Data Corpse“. That song was plucked from their current studio album, “New Gods, New Masters“, which the Boston, MA band put out last September via Metal Blade. That video came together under the direction of David Brodsky (Cattle Decapitation, Whitechapel), marking yet another another collaboration between the band and him.
Revocation vocalist/guitarist Dave Davidson commented:
“‘Data Corpse‘ is about social media companies constantly scouring our personal lives for profit. We unwittingly give up more and more of ourselves every year just to be sold a shinier pair of shoes, all until what’s left of our private lives is picked to the bone. For the video, we once again worked with the incredible team at MyGoodEye. My transformation into a mutant cyborg was influenced by a lot of the imagery that originated in classic cyberpunk films like Tetsuo and Akira. Enjoy the dystopian grotesqueries.”
