Technical death metal/Egyptology enthusiasts Nile will be co-headlining a North American tour with Swiss tech thrashers Coroner in the new year. Californian melodic death metallers Syn Absence will be opening that run. Nile vocalist/guitarist, etc. Karl Sanders said of the trek:
“I’ve been a fan of Coroner since the ‘Masked Jackal‘ / ‘Punishment for Decadence‘ days. I discovered them because I was a Celtic Frost and Voivod fan. I was always inspired by their incredible musicianship, and the super creative, genre-transcending compositions on all their classic records. Coroner are also an incredibly killer, always spectacular live band that we in Nile have infinite respect for. It’s going to be wild! If you are a Metal fan, this is a tour not to be missed.”
Nile‘s drummer George Kollias went on to add:
“Touring with Coroner is something I was expecting for years! Incredible line up…. I think this is going to be THE ULTIMATE TOUR!!!!! Hope to see all the fans there!!!”
Tickets for this run will be available starting September 18th at 10:00am local time.
