My Chemical Romance began to wind down their 2026 U.S. touring last night, September 12th, in San Antonio, TX, and the multi-platinum outfit still had a few surprises in up their sleeves. Among them was a performance of their “The Black Parade” track “Mama“, complete with a guest spot from Danish heavy metal legend King Diamond. The latter took part in performing some kingly duties for the band, officially knighting the outfit.
My Chemical Romance vocalist Gerard Way also hinted at the band potentially working on their first new studio album since 2010. Fan-filmed footage of Way talking about that can be found below, along with some footage of Diamond taking to the stage with the band.
