Last week saw My Chemical Romance face legal action for using lookalike costumes of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders onstage during their residency at the Hollywood Bowl. In addition to cheer routines, the various performers dressed in those costumes engaged in a faux firefight onstage, complete with fake blood.
Pro Silver Star Ltd., the company behind the aforementioned cheerleaders, did not appreciate the band’s usage of their trademarks and filed an injunction for infringement. Now TMZ report that the emo rock outfit have reached an agreement with the aforementioned company to resolve that suit.
As part of that arrangement, My Chemical Romance are said to have dropped the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders-styled uniforms going forward. Neither party appear to have publicly commented on the matter thus far.
