Nü-gazers Split Chain have delivered another pair of collaborative tracks from their guest-laced deluxe edition of their debut album, “motionblur“. Launched today are a new take on “The Space In Between” featuring Postdrome, and “who am i?” featuring Commoner. Both of those revised tracks will appear on “motionblur [DELUXE]“, which Epitaph have on course for a September 11th release date. Collectively addressing these latest collaborations to emerge, Split Chain shared today:
“As with the previous two singles so far, asking Derryk (postdrome) and Romin (Commoner) to feature on these songs is something we knew we had to do as soon as we’d decided to re-release motionblur. Derryk has been an OG supporter of us since day one of Split Chain. Whilst we had the privilege of meeting Romin and the rest of the Commoner guys whilst we’re out on our first US tour with Silverstein. They are both so uniquely talented and their bands absolutely rip. We knew immediately that they were going to deliver with these songs and that’s exactly what they did.
To work with people with talent of their caliber was incredible, and what they’ve added to these songs is even more incredible. The songs have been yet again elevated to the point where it truly feels like they’re the definitive versions. We are so so stoked with how they’ve turned out and we can’t thank the guys enough for agreeing to do this with us.”
