A curtain on the side of the stage during Evanescence‘s set last night, June 12th, at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, FL caught fire some 9 songs into the band’s performance. Ironically that unexpected ignition took place during the alternative metal group’s performance of the song “Calm Down“.
A stagehand was quick to address the errant pyro mishap, extinguishing the resulting flames without the band missing a beat. However, some have expressed concern over the allegedly unconventional methods used to put out the fire. Fan-filmed footage of the mishap can be seen below.
