Another taste of Genghis Tron‘s upcoming fourth album “Signal Fire” has just been served up. The cybergrinders have begun streaming the track “Nothing Blooms In The Hollow“, which a press release described as grafting ‘the savagery of blast beats onto the hypnotic motorik repetition of krautrock. At this stage, having set out from the beginning to forge common ground between Cryptopsy and Autechre, between Brutal Truth and Boards Of Canada, ugly-beautiful new genre hybrids from Genghis Tron no longer come as a surprise.’
Relapse Records have a June 12th release date slated for the band’s aforementioned new album.
