Nashville post-hardcore band idle threat debuted their new single “wither without” this week. That latest cut from their upcoming new album “you’ll forget the sun” packs a guest cameo from Garrett Russell, vocalist of alternative metal outfit Silent Planet. In idle threat‘s own words, “‘wither without‘ is about watching someone you love slowly decay before your eyes, and the continuous fight that it takes to stay by their side when everything in you wants to look away. It’s about carrying on their memory when they’ve lost their own.”
Russell‘s involvement with this new album, due out May 08th on Tooth & Nail, is one of several guest appearances lined up for it. Haste The Day vocalist Stephen Keech appeared on the already released “in tandem“. Christian Nielsen of Meadows will appear on the album’s title track, while Aaron Stone of My Epic can be heard on “meet me there“.
